Claire Brimble
Hi Im Claire and I run the rescue.
It is run from a building at the top of my garden. I have the space to keep approx 5 Rabbits with me at one time, and space for quite a few Guinea Pigs. Due to a few personal reasons I am now concentrating mainly on Rescuing Guinea Pigs. I am not open for the public to come and view the rescue, it is by appointment only and visitors are not permitted to enter the rescue building. This is due to the increased risk of VHD2 being brought into the rescue. Meetings will be done from my front garden, but in the summer this will be in my back garden once they can all enjoy being back on the grass. |

North Hampshire Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue is small non profit rescue.
The rescue started out in 2015 with me (Claire) helping another rescue out by collecting unwanted rabbits and guinea pigs from those who no longer wanted the animal. I found myself on the fostering list and looking to find homes for these unwanted animals, but before long and with lots of encouragement I decided I would setup and run my own rescue. It wasn't long before I found myself inundated with animals and thus I started to get a little overwhelmed by everything that needed doing to keep the rescue running successfully. The rescue continues to grow and I've had good support from various people who have become good friends. With the help and support of some amazing animal lovers K&C North Hampshire Rabbit and Guinea Pig Rescue is going from strength to strength. Our aim is to keep the rescue small to ensure we can fully focus on the animals needs and give them the attention they deserve, prior to going to their new home. Being non profit we do not take any money out of the rescue, all money goes towards the welfare of the animals and vet bills. As you can imagine some of our vet bills are very high so we have to focus a lot on raising funds for this. Our main aim is to get all rabbits old enough neutered before adoption. . |
