I will get some photos of the rescue here at my home and the fosters, Sometimes it nice to see where they all live whilst waiting for their new forever homes.
A lot of people don't realise the Rescue is based at my home in my back garden. I am therefore a small rescue which is run by me. I am so lucky to have a couple of amazing fosters , who you will find on the about us page.
At the moment the rescue is having a makeover.
The barns which i currently use do not belong to us and sadly we are having to give them up. The land owners have put in planning for a new house. So my amazing husband donated our old container to the Rescue, had it moved to the back garden and paid out of his own pocket to have it tidied up, Electric put in and Bespoke hutches built. With some funds i had saved at home also used. I have also been selling things on Facebook to raise money. I am very excited to get moved in. We are a few weeks off yet as I need to paint the hutches once they are finished and get some Lino to put in them.
Watch this space. x

The bottom of my garden... So what you can see is a storage container that my husband had cladded for me so it looks nicer on the eye :) He has built a walk in run on the end. This will be done so i can split it into 2 runs if needed. Sadly it will mean as I have less space the Rabbits will have to take turns having their time out but they will all get many hours each a week. I can also use the space inside the Container. You can just see behind the container the barns where the rescue is currently run from. Sadly after renting the barns for the last 10 years and running the rescue from it for the last 4 we have to give them up (we don't own them).
Inside the container you can see we have had purpose built hutches made. I will have 10 6ftx 2ft x3ft hutches, and then 6 smaller hutches for the guineas .BUT every hutch has a divider in it so if i have less rabbits in they can have a 12ft or even 18ft plus hutch all to themselves... Same with the piggies hutches i can make them bigger if needed.
This also does limit me to how many Rabbits/Guinea pigs i can personally have here with me. Luckily I do have my amazing fosters. Terri can foster up to 5 single rabbits (or 10 if in pairs). Siobhan can foster up to 5 single Guinea Pigs (or more if in pairs or small herds), Sue can foster 2 single rabbits or 2 pairs. And I also have another lovely lady that can foster for me as and when, either a single or a pair.
I will have electric in the container, which I didn't have in the barns, also a coffee machine (very important) and better storing places, well I say better lol.... More organised..
I will add more photos soon as we have since had more work done. x
